List a Token on CoinGecko
To request a CoinGecko listing, prepare your project information and submit a New Coin/Token Listing request through CoinGecko's partner portal. For an Active Listing, the token must already be tradable on an exchange CoinGecko tracks. A prelaunch project follows the separate Preview Listing route.
The useful work comes before the form: confirming the right contract and market, making supply figures consistent, and preparing the public verification that connects the submission to your official team. This checklist covers that preparation, the submission sequence and what to check afterwards.
Listing Routes
An Active Listing is for a token that is already trading. Confirm that its exchange is tracked by CoinGecko and that you can provide the correct market link. A token contract, a newly created pool or a page on a different tracker does not by itself establish eligibility or approval.
For a token that has not launched, CoinGecko offers Preview Listing. Its guidance asks for official evidence about the planned Token Generation Event and exchange arrangements. A preview-listed page does not immediately track price data; activation is a separate step. Follow the current preview instructions if details are still unconfirmed rather than presenting a planned market as a live one.
CoinGecko and GeckoTerminal are different listing surfaces. Your token may be searchable by contract address on GeckoTerminal without having an active CoinGecko coin page. Finding the pool there is useful evidence of where it trades, not confirmation that CoinGecko has approved it.
CoinGecko's evaluation considers factors including liquidity, team presence, project maturity and the quality of submitted information. Some criteria are undisclosed. There is no universal liquidity, holder-count or trading-volume threshold in this checklist: meeting one invented number would not establish acceptance.
If you are still preparing a Solana market, our Raydium liquidity pool guide covers that earlier task. Pool creation and CoinGecko evaluation remain separate processes.
Prepare Your Data
Keep a single application reference sheet so your website, explorer links, official posts and form answers describe the same token. The table below is a preparation aid, not a reproduction of every mandatory form field. The current form marks required entries with an asterisk.
| Prepare | Check before submitting |
|---|---|
| Token identity | Correct name, ticker, network and contract or mint address; distinguish the token address from its pool address. |
| Public project information | Working website, clear project description, official social profiles and supporting documentation where available. |
| Market evidence | Correct live exchange and trading-pair links for an Active Listing; do not substitute another token with the same ticker. |
| Supply information | Consistent total, maximum and circulating figures, with the basis for exclusions and burns where relevant. |
| Image asset | Token logo ready to attach in the format and dimensions requested by the form. |
| Team verification | Official social account linked from the project website, public verification post URL and an accessible contact email. |
Supply deserves a separate check. Total supply describes tokens that currently exist after accounting for burns. Max supply is the issuance ceiling, where one is defined. Neither should be substituted for circulating supply, which applies a methodology to determine what is available in the public market.
Do not label an unknown maximum as zero, or assume an unlimited supply is missing data. If a contract's current supply already reflects a burn, subtracting that burn again produces an incorrect figure. Record the source and observation point for the numbers you submit, especially if minting or burning continues.
Before opening the form: verify every address against the intended network, open the submitted links in a logged-out browser, and check that your official website identifies the social account you will use for verification. A reviewer should not have to guess which of several conflicting addresses is correct.
Submit and Verify
CoinGecko's verification guide for listing and update requests describes a sequence that starts before submission and ends after the confirmation email. Keep both parts together:
- Publish the verification post first. Use an official social account linked from your project website. Follow the current guide's requirements and retain the public post URL.
- Sign in to CoinGecko. Open the official request form, then select New Coin/Token Listing in Request & Listing.
- Choose Active Listing or Preview Listing. Use the route that matches your token's actual status.
- Complete the application. Fill the required fields, upload the token image and include the verification-post link. Supply useful supporting details rather than repeating promotional claims.
- Choose the review option and submit. Read the applicable terms, acknowledge them and complete the form's verification steps.
- Save the confirmation and Request ID. After receiving the confirmation email, reply to your original public verification post with that Request ID, as the verification guide instructs.
- Track the request in the dashboard. Use Request & Listing to inspect its status and keep the confirmation email for reference.
The public verification post and the later Request ID reply are not interchangeable. Posting an ID without the original ownership context, or submitting a form without its requested verification evidence, leaves the sequence incomplete.
A confirmation email means the request was received. It does not mean the token is listed. Keep private keys and recovery phrases out of the application, supporting documents and messages to anyone offering listing assistance.
Review and Next Steps
CoinGecko's published submission guide describes a Regular Pass review process taking up to five days. Its paid Fast Pass service describes a response within 24 hours. Check the current portal terms before selecting an option: these are review or response windows, not promises that a token page will be approved within that time.
Fast Pass purchases priority review, not acceptance. CoinGecko explicitly states that its Fast Pass service does not guarantee approval. It also warns that third-party services claiming fast or guaranteed listings are not authorized or endorsed by CoinGecko. This is separate from paying for token promotion.
If the application does not progress, review the dashboard and any response before acting. Check for incomplete project information, missing team verification, incorrect market links, contract risks or inconsistent data. Use the appropriate official support or update process when a correction is needed. Do not submit the same token repeatedly or ask a community to spam CoinGecko with listing demands; CoinGecko warns that duplicate requests and spam can harm the application.
After acceptance, inspect the public page rather than stopping at the status message. Confirm the network, contract, website, logo, markets and supply information shown. If something is wrong, use the update route instead of creating another new-listing request.
For a launch team, the wider sequence remains prepare the token → establish the market → apply for tracking → maintain accurate information. Panda Bundler addresses supported launch and wallet operations; its Solana Bundler guide covers that earlier work. It does not replace CoinGecko's application or review.
Once your public token information is ready, you can plan distribution and promotion as a separate workstream. Our token launch marketing guide explains that next stage. PandaBoost promotion is not a purchase of CoinGecko approval, and visibility activity should not be presented as independent evidence that a token deserves a listing.

FAQ
CoinGecko's published guidance describes Regular Pass review as taking up to five days and Fast Pass as providing a response within 24 hours. Check the current portal terms before submitting. Neither window guarantees approval or an active token page.
No. Fast Pass is CoinGecko's paid priority-review service. Acceptance remains subject to its evaluation criteria, and third-party promises of guaranteed listing are not endorsed by CoinGecko.
A prelaunch project can use the separate Preview Listing route and provide the official evidence requested for its planned launch. Preview listing does not immediately activate price tracking. Active Listing requires an already-tradable asset on an exchange CoinGecko tracks.
No. A GeckoTerminal pool page and an active CoinGecko coin page are different surfaces. A token may appear on GeckoTerminal while its CoinGecko application is unapproved or has not been submitted.
Save the confirmation email and Request ID, reply to the original public verification post with the ID as instructed, and monitor Request & Listing in the dashboard. Use the official correction or support process when needed rather than submitting duplicate applications.
