DEXTscore
DEXTscore is DEXTools’ 1-to-99 project reliability indicator. It summarizes selected blockchain and external signals but does not guarantee safety, profit, or trending placement.
Why it matters
DEXTools presents DEXTscore as a project reliability indicator built from blockchain data and selected external sources. It gives traders a quick screening signal before they inspect the token, pair, liquidity, holders, and contract themselves.
DEXTscore is separate from Hot Pairs or Trending placement. A stronger score does not reveal or guarantee where a pair will rank.
How the score works
The official DEXTscore glossary entry lists project and social information, transaction count, external audits, token-holder count, pair liquidity, and contract-creation information among its inputs.
DEXTools says it evaluates the parameters separately and combines the results. Its public explanation does not disclose every weight, threshold, or update interval, so the listed inputs are not a reproducible formula.
Two tokens can show similar DEXTscores while one has deeper liquidity and a healthier holder spread. The score is the prompt to investigate, not the conclusion.
How to use it
- Confirm the exact contract address and trading pair.
- Review liquidity, recent transactions, and holder concentration.
- Open audit claims at the original provider and match the contract version.
- Check project and social information independently.
- Revisit the score as its underlying inputs change.
An external audit reference has limits. It does not provide continuous monitoring or remove contract, governance, liquidity, or market risk.
Common mistakes
- Treating 99 as proof that a token is safe.
- Confusing DEXTscore with a Hot Pairs or Trending ranking.
- Ignoring the exact pair, liquidity, and holder distribution.
- Assuming every input has a published fixed weight.
Use DEXTscore as a compact research signal, then verify the underlying token and market data yourself.
