How GeckoTerminal Trending Works
GeckoTerminal Trending helps traders discover active pools. The important word is pools. A token can trade through several pools on different DEXs or networks, and each pool has its own liquidity, transactions, age, and price history.
PandaBoost offers three 24-hour GeckoTerminal visibility packages, starting at $200. You can target search visibility, pool page views, or both. This guide explains how the Trending list works, what you need before ordering, and how to check the result without guessing at GeckoTerminal's private ranking formula.
If you already know your pair address, the practical part is straightforward: verify that GeckoTerminal lists the pool, choose where you want the added visibility, and keep one consistent view for reporting. The detail below matters because a token name, a pool, and a network-level Trending result are not interchangeable.
How Trending Works
GeckoTerminal says its Trending Pools list uses user web visits and on-chain activity. That broad description comes from the platform's official changelog. GeckoTerminal does not publish the formula, thresholds, or weight of each input.
The list is filtered by network and tracks individual pools. If your token has one pool on Solana and another on an EVM network, activity around one does not automatically make the other trend. Even on the same network, two pools can behave differently because they have different quote assets, liquidity, DEXs, and trading histories.
Before a campaign, open the exact GeckoTerminal page and verify the network, DEX, pool address, and trading pair. A ticker alone is not enough. Similar symbols and migrated liquidity make it easy to monitor the wrong pool.
GeckoTerminal's API supports 5m, 1h, 6h, and 24h Trending views, with 24h as the default. These are reporting windows inside GeckoTerminal. They are separate from the PandaBoost package duration, which is 24 hours per order.
A practical pool example
Suppose TOKEN trades in a TOKEN/SOL pool on one DEX and a TOKEN/USDC pool on another. The SOL pool may receive more page visits and transactions today, while the USDC pool has deeper liquidity and a longer history. GeckoTerminal can show different data for each pool because they are separate markets.
If your order uses the TOKEN/USDC pair address, that is the pool you should track. A screenshot of the TOKEN/SOL pool does not prove delivery for the selected pair, even though both pages use the same token symbol. This is also why the pair address is required in the PandaBoost order form.
The network filter matters in the same way. GeckoTerminal's network endpoint can return up to 20 trending pools for the selected network. A pool can appear in one network view and be absent from another without either result being inconsistent.
What GeckoTerminal Shows
The interface gives traders enough data to judge what is happening around a pool. It does not reveal a points system for reaching Trending.
| Visible field | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Liquidity | How much value is available for swaps in the pool. |
| Transactions | How much trading activity appeared in the selected window. |
| Price change | How the pool price moved during a displayed period. |
| Market cap | A valuation reference for the tracked asset. |
| Pool age | How long the pool has been active. |
| Security indicators | Warnings and checks available in the interface. |
Read these fields together. A burst of transactions in a shallow liquidity pool is not the same as steady activity in a deeper market. A sharp price move can come from thin liquidity rather than broad demand. Visibility also does not mean that GeckoTerminal endorses the token or that the pool is safe.
For campaign reporting, save the same fields at each checkpoint. For ranking advice, stay inside the evidence: GeckoTerminal names web visits and on-chain activity, but it does not confirm a fixed recipe or guaranteed position.
Market cap and liquidity are also easy to confuse. Market cap is a valuation reference. Liquidity describes capital available in the pool for swaps. Neither number tells you how many people visited the page, and neither replaces transaction data. Looking at all of them together gives a useful market snapshot without turning one visible field into an invented ranking rule.
Security indicators deserve the same caution. They can surface warnings or checks available to GeckoTerminal, but Trending visibility is not a security review. Teams should still verify ownership controls, token contracts, liquidity conditions, and any other risks relevant to the project.
Prices & Requirements
PandaBoost runs GeckoTerminal Trending campaigns for listed Solana and EVM pairs. Choose the package by where you want the visibility to appear.
| Package | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Search Trending | $200 / 24h | Boosted search visibility. |
| Pool Trending | $200 / 24h | Boosted pool page views. |
| Full Trending | $300 / 24h | Search visibility and pool page views. |
The order form also lists automatic start and stop based on the trending position. That keeps the campaign tied to the selected visibility target rather than treating it as a blind timer.
To place an order, prepare:
- a valid pair address on Solana or an EVM network;
- a token that is already listed on GeckoTerminal;
- the correct package: Search, Pool, or Full Trending.
Prices and package details above were checked against the PandaBoost order form on July 22, 2026. Confirm the current selection in the Web Panel before checkout.
Which package should you choose?
Search Trending fits teams that want the token to receive more visibility in GeckoTerminal search. It is the focused $200 option when search discovery is the main objective.
Pool Trending is also $200 and focuses on pool page views. Choose it when the campaign is built around attention to the exact pool page rather than search visibility alone.
Full Trending combines both routes for $300. It is the clearest fit when you want one 24-hour order to cover search visibility and pool page views together instead of running only one side of the campaign.
Choose by campaign objective, not by token size. A newly listed pair can use any package if it meets the requirements, and a larger project still needs to submit the exact pool address. If you are unsure which pool to use, verify the GeckoTerminal URL with PandaBoost support before placing the order rather than relying on the ticker.
Campaign Setup
A clean setup takes a few minutes and prevents most reporting mistakes.
- Verify the pair. Open the supplied address on GeckoTerminal and confirm that it resolves to the intended token, network, DEX, and pool.
- Choose the visibility target. Search Trending is for search discovery. Pool Trending focuses on pool page views. Full Trending combines both.
- Capture the starting point. Note the network, pool URL, selected Trending window, current position or absence, liquidity, transactions, and timestamp.
- Keep one reporting view. If you start with the 24-hour network view, do not switch to a five-minute view later and present it as the same measurement.
- Check the live page during delivery. Positions can move as other pools gain activity and GeckoTerminal refreshes its list.
The service is designed to improve the pool's opportunity for visibility during the selected campaign. GeckoTerminal remains the platform controlling the live list, so an exact position can move during delivery. That does not change what should be measured: the correct pool, network, view, and timestamps.
Before you submit the order
- Paste the pair address into GeckoTerminal and make sure the page opens.
- Match the token contracts and quote asset with the intended market.
- Check that you selected Search, Pool, or Full Trending deliberately.
- Save the starting URL and timestamp for your own campaign record.
- Use PandaBoost support if the token has several active pools and the target is unclear.
This quick check is more useful than correcting a wrong pair after delivery has started. It also gives everyone on the team one source of truth for screenshots and reporting.
Measuring Results
Use a short timeline instead of one isolated screenshot. Record the same information before the campaign, during delivery, at the end of the 24-hour order, and once more afterward.
| Checkpoint | Record | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Before | Pool identity, Trending status, visible metrics | Creates a reliable baseline. |
| During | Position or absence, view, timestamp, metrics | Shows when visibility changed. |
| End of order | Final observation for the 24-hour campaign | Separates delivery from later movement. |
| Follow-up | The same fields in the same view | Shows what changed after the campaign. |
If the pool does not appear where expected, check the basics first: pair address, network, selected time window, and whether the GeckoTerminal pool page is returning fresh data. Do not invent a reason from one metric. Web visits, on-chain activity, competing pools, and GeckoTerminal's undisclosed controls can all change at the same time.
A clear result note can be one sentence: “At 14:00 UTC, the selected pool appeared in the Solana 24-hour Trending view at the observed position.” Include the pool URL and screenshot. If the position changes later, add another timestamp instead of replacing the original observation.
Avoid describing one pool's result as token-wide coverage. Also avoid mixing the campaign duration with GeckoTerminal's interface windows. The order runs for 24 hours; the 5m, 1h, 6h, and 24h filters are different ways to inspect activity inside GeckoTerminal.
