How to Get a Token Listed on DEX Screener
DEX Screener does not use a listing application. A token appears automatically after it has been added to a liquidity pool and the pair has recorded at least one transaction. If your launch is live but the token is missing, the cause is usually pair detection or incomplete token information. There is no application to be rejected.
Start with the exact chain, token contract, and pair address. Those identifiers will tell you whether the pool exists, whether it has traded, and whether you are looking at the intended market rather than another token with the same ticker.
How DEX Screener Listing Works
DEX Screener's official listing documentation gives two conditions for automatic listing: the token must be in a liquidity pool, and that pool must have at least one transaction. Deploying a token contract alone satisfies neither condition. A pool that exists but has never recorded a transaction does not satisfy the second one.
| Check | What it proves | How to verify it |
|---|---|---|
| Liquidity pool exists | A tradeable pair has been created on a DEX | Open the pair onchain and confirm both token reserves |
| At least one transaction | The pool has recorded onchain activity, not just deployment | Open the pool's history and confirm at least one recorded transaction |
| Correct search key (diagnostic step, not a listing condition) | You are checking the intended token and pool, not a same-ticker lookalike | Search the token address or pair address before the ticker |
DEX Screener search accepts a token name, symbol, token address, or pair address. Names and symbols can collide. Contract and pair addresses are the safer diagnostic keys because they point to one specific asset or pool.
A token address identifies the token contract. A pair address identifies one liquidity pool containing that token. One token can have several pairs across quote assets or DEXs, and each pair can show different liquidity, volume, age, and price. When you compare pairs across tools, keep the pair address as the reference key.
Teams that prefer a programmatic check can query DEX Screener's official API to confirm whether a pair or token is already indexed. The API reports what has been detected. It is not a separate listing route.
Why Your Token or Pair Is Missing
Work through the symptoms below to identify what is failing, then run the five verification steps in order. Searching by ticker first is fast, but it is also the easiest way to open the wrong asset or miss a pair that already exists.
| What you see | Likely issue | What to check next |
|---|---|---|
| No result by any search key | The pool does not exist or has no recorded transaction | Confirm pool creation, both reserves, and at least one recorded transaction on the pool |
| No result by name or symbol | The ticker is duplicated, ambiguous, or token information has not resolved | Search the token contract, then the pair address |
| Token appears, intended pair does not | You are viewing the token page or a different pool | Compare the DEX, quote token, chain, and pair address |
| Pair appears but the profile is blank | Detection worked; the token information is still missing | Go to "How to Update Token Information" below |
| Pair opens in another tool but not under the expected ticker | Different tools can display different token metadata or default to a different pool | Compare the same token address and pair address in both tools before assuming a listing problem |
- Confirm the chain. A contract address is meaningful only on its own network. Do not assume a token with the same ticker on another chain is the same asset.
- Open the pool onchain. Verify that the pair transaction succeeded and that liquidity is actually present.
- Confirm a recorded transaction. DEX Screener's automatic-listing rule requires at least one transaction after the token is added to a liquidity pool.
- Search the token address. If that works, review every returned pool and select the intended DEX and quote asset.
- Search the pair address. This is the cleanest way to verify one specific market instead of letting the interface choose a default pair.
DEX Screener's listing documentation does not publish a fixed indexing time. Treat any specific number of minutes or blocks from an unofficial source as unverified. Prove that both published conditions are satisfied first, then keep every check tied to the same chain, contract, and pair.
If the pair is visible and the problem is an official Boost order or button, that is no longer a listing issue. Use the separate guide for DEX Screener Boost troubleshooting.
How to Update Token Information
A listed pair can still show an incomplete logo, description, website, socials, market cap, or FDV. Detection and profile completeness are separate jobs.
DEX Screener says it automatically looks for token information from external token lists such as CoinGecko. That is the automatic route: correct the information on the list DEX Screener reads, so the corrected version can be picked up. DEX Screener also offers Enhanced Token Info, a separate paid route for submitting token information directly. Its price and processing terms can change, so check the live first-party order page rather than relying on an old screenshot or quote.
| Item | How DEX Screener handles it | Practical route |
|---|---|---|
| Logo, description, and social links | Information can be pulled from external token lists | Correct the entry on the external list, or use Enhanced Token Info |
| FDV | (Total supply - burned supply) × current price | Verify supply and burn data onchain |
| Market cap | May use self-reported circulating supply from Enhanced Token Info or CoinGecko when non-circulating supply is not burned | Check the reported circulating figure and its source |
| Pair metrics | Price, liquidity, transactions, and volume come from the indexed market | Confirm you are viewing the intended pair |
Market cap can match FDV when the tracker has no lower circulating-supply figure to apply. DEX Screener's documentation says FDV uses total supply minus burned supply. For tokens that do not burn supply held outside circulation, it may use self-reported supply from Enhanced Token Info or CoinGecko for market cap instead. The Circulating Supply glossary explains why the same token can show different supply-based metrics across trackers.
Do not buy a visibility campaign while the pair page still points to the wrong contract, missing links, or unexplained supply figures. More visitors will not fix those fields. It will only put the unfinished page in front of more people.
From Listing to Reactions and Trending
Listing makes a pair discoverable when someone knows what to search. It does not create traffic, reactions, or a Trending position. Run one final readiness pass before you spend anything:
- The intended pair resolves by pair address and token contract.
- The logo, description, website, and social links are present and correct.
- Market cap and FDV are understood rather than treated as interchangeable labels.
- Liquidity and current market activity are ready for visitors who may choose to trade.
Free reactions are a low-risk way to confirm that the correct pair link is being used before any paid campaign. They are not a substitute for trading activity and do not guarantee a ranking.
Paid DEX Screener Trending is the next step for a live pair with complete information and stable qualifying metrics. DEX Screener controls the live ranking at all times. Read how DEX Screener Trending works for current requirements, packages, and limits, then confirm availability in the PandaBoost Web Panel.

FAQ
No. DEX Screener states that tokens are listed automatically after they are added to a liquidity pool and the pair has at least one transaction. Basic detection does not use an application or a PandaBoost service.
DEX Screener does not publish one guaranteed indexing time in its listing documentation. Verify the required conditions instead: the liquidity pool exists, reserves are present, and the pair has recorded at least one completed transaction.
The contract address identifies one token, while a name or ticker can be duplicated or depend on token information from external lists. Search the contract and pair address first, then correct the upstream token information or use Enhanced Token Info.
DEX Screener calculates FDV from total supply minus burned supply. If non-circulating supply has not been burned and no lower circulating-supply figure is available from Enhanced Token Info or CoinGecko, market cap may match FDV.
Detection and profile completeness are separate. Confirm you are on the intended pair address, then correct the token information either on the external list DEX Screener reads or through Enhanced Token Info, DEX Screener's separate paid direct route. PandaBoost does not submit or approve token information and works only with pairs that are already live.
