Why Can’t I Boost My Token on DEX Screener?
If the DEX Screener Boost button is missing or an order returns an error, check three things first: whether you are using a web browser, whether the token has been active within the last 24 hours, and whether the token has a potential security-risk flag.
These rules apply to official Boost packs purchased through DEX Screener. They are separate from PandaBoost’s DEX Screener Trending campaigns.
Quick Answer
| What you see | What to check |
|---|---|
| No Boost button in the app | Open the token page in a web browser. DEX Screener does not offer Boost purchasing in its mobile app. |
| Token is not eligible | Check whether the token has been inactive for over 24 hours. |
| Security-related error | Review any visible warnings or third-party audit flags. |
| The error appears incorrect | Contact official DEX Screener support through the channels linked in its documentation. |
Why Boost Is Unavailable
Mobile app: DEX Screener says the Boost action is available only in a web browser. If you are using the app, open the same token page in a browser and look for the yellow Boost button.
More than 24 hours of inactivity: tokens that have been inactive for over 24 hours are not eligible for official Boosts. A Boost cannot substitute for an active market.
Potential security risk: DEX Screener may block Boosts when a token is flagged by one of its third-party audit partners. Buying promotion does not remove that eligibility decision.
Most tokens can be boosted, but these exceptions are part of DEX Screener’s published Boost rules.
What to Check Before Trying Again
- Open DEX Screener in a web browser rather than the mobile app.
- Confirm that you are on the correct token and pair page.
- Check whether the pair has had legitimate activity during the last 24 hours.
- Review any security warnings or audit flags shown for the token.
- If the token appears eligible but the error remains, contact official DEX Screener support.
Official Boost purchases are non-refundable. DEX Screener also states that Boosts may be removed if a token is later flagged as malicious, so resolve eligibility and security issues before purchasing.
Operator Risk Factors
DEX Screener publishes the eligibility rules above. The patterns below come from PandaBoost’s launch experience and are not a published DEX Screener ban formula. Treat them as an additional operator-risk layer.
Official eligibility checks
Browser access, recent token activity and visible security or audit flags.
Operator risk layer
Project identity reuse, community reports and recognizable wallet or funding footprints.
| Risk signal | Why it matters | Operator response |
|---|---|---|
| One email across unrelated launches | Social-link and token-profile updates can connect otherwise separate projects. | Use a dedicated operational email for each token or project. |
| Repeated community reports | Complaints, including reports through public chat, can bring additional scrutiny. | Resolve visible token-page, communication and trust issues before buying promotion. |
| Reused wallets or funding routes | The same wallet clusters, funding flows and transaction timing create a recognizable launch footprint. | Do not recycle wallet infrastructure across unrelated projects. |
| Low-quality bots or bundlers | Highly repetitive execution can make operational patterns more obvious instead of hiding them. | Review the transaction footprint before launch and avoid tools that produce identical activity patterns. |
✅ Best practice
Clear the official eligibility problem first. Then separate the project identity, wallets and funding setup before purchasing promotion. A Boost multiplies an existing Trending Score; it does not repair inactivity, security warnings or a recycled operational footprint.
Boosts vs Trending
An official DEX Screener Boost temporarily increases a token’s existing Trending Score by applying a multiplier. It does not replace the market activity, community engagement and trust signals considered by the ranking system, and it does not guarantee a trending position.
For a broader explanation, read How DEX Screener Trending Works. You can also review DEX Screener Reactions to understand one of the visible community-engagement signals.
PandaBoost’s DEX Screener Trending campaign is a separate service. PandaBoost cannot unlock the official Boost button, remove a security flag or override DEX Screener’s eligibility decision.
Planning a DEX Screener Trending campaign?
PandaBoost can help with a DEX Screener Trending campaign, but cannot remove an official Boost eligibility block or guarantee a rank.
FAQ
First check whether you are using the DEX Screener mobile app. Official Boost purchasing is available in a web browser, not in the mobile app. If the button is still unavailable in a browser, check token activity and security status.
DEX Screener says tokens that have been inactive for over 24 hours are ineligible for Boosts. Restore legitimate market activity before checking eligibility again.
A token flagged with potential security risks by DEX Screener’s third-party audit partners is ineligible for Boosts. If you believe the flag or error is incorrect, contact official DEX Screener support.
No. DEX Screener says Boosts apply a multiplier to the existing Trending Score, but do not replace the other on-chain and off-chain metrics used by the ranking system.
No. PandaBoost cannot override DEX Screener eligibility or security decisions. PandaBoost’s DEX Screener Trending service is separate from official DEX Screener Boost packs.
