A token deployment with no advance announcement, no presale, no whitelist and no scheduled countdown - the contract just appears.
Why it matters
Advance announcements attract sniper bots, alpha groups and airdrop farmers before the launch. A stealth launch cuts that queue and gives the team's bundler a clean first block. But it also means zero pre-launch hype - the first few minutes depend entirely on the team's own volume and reactions.
How stealth launches work
- No calendar post - nothing on X, TG or Discord announcing launch time.
- Stealth funding chain - team wallets funded through routing hops so nothing can be pre-mapped.
- Cold deploy - contract deployed and LP added without a countdown.
- First-hour push - team runs reactions, trending and volume immediately post-launch.
- CA reveal - only after LP is live and secured, then socials post the address.
Team A stealth-deploys with warmed wallets, funds routed through 3 hops. Snipers arrive after the bundle lands. Team gets 35% of supply, chart holds.
Team B calls it stealth but tweets "launching soon" the day before. Sniper bots watch the deployer wallet, front-run the bundle. Team gets 8%, snipers get 45%. Chart dies in an hour.
Trade-offs
- Pro - no sniper queue, no farmer pre-buy, clean first block.
- Pro - full control of the opening candle.
- Con - zero community hype pre-launch; audience has to be built post-drop.
- Con - requires trending push immediately or the CA gets buried in noise.
Common mistakes
- Hinting the launch - "soon", "this week", "stay tuned" all defeat the point.
- Using fresh wallets - even stealth deploys get flagged if wallets are minutes old.
- No post-launch marketing plan - stealth without trending is stealth invisible.
- Skipping bundler - stealth doesn't stop snipers, it just delays them by seconds.
